New benches for the Esplanade
The Parish Council have been successful in securing funding through the Welcome Back Fund for seven new benches for the seafront and are liaising with the Isle of Wight Council about a suitable location for them.
Village Green Toilets
It has been just over a year now since the toilets were refitted and modernised at the parish’s expense (fully owned by the Village, not the Isle of Wight Council) and the feedback we get from the many users both local and those on holiday is that the small charge to use them (20p) is worth paying for. The daily maintenance and cleaning is payed for and managed by Gurnard Parish Council and we would be grateful should you notice any building issues, vandalism or misuse of this village asset, to please either contact us directly, or our contractor Danfo, on 01253 593141 (a 24/7 phone line which is displayed on the side of the building).
Vacancy
There is still one remaining vacancy on the Parish Council. If you are interested in becoming a Parish Councillor, or just interested to see what goes on, please come along and observe one of our meetings.
Next Parish Council Meeting
